Probably you could, if you have the right equipment, but why would you want to see a 3D movie on a PC? 3D movie presentations, wouldn't benefit at all when viewing it from a computer monitor, because you wouldn't get the full theatrical effect. HD, and 3D technology is best to be seen on a large HDTV screen, not from a PC.

I thought I read that you would have to have a compatible video card to display the 3D movie as well as glasses that will synchronize with the movie. I agree that a large screen is the best for viewing Blu-ray but I guess if you don't have one or you want something portable like a laptop then your stuck... for me, i'll stick with my 150" projection system.

Yes, but what's the card model number? Your card might not be capable of the 3D output, even though all your other components are.

Older video cards are actually capable of Blu-ray 3D disc playback if hardware acceleration is being handled by the CPU. It is possible to perform 3D playback on an ATI HD 2400 or NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT, but hardware acceleration is required, and I don't know if the dual-core P4 is up to the task.

Easiest way to figure out if your PC can handle 3D playback: download, then run Cyberlink's BD & 3D Advisor.

3D Bluray needs a 1.4 compliant graphics card and 1.4 HDMI cable. You will not be able to view 3D via DVI to HDMI.
