Default PLEASE Help...Internet Problem!

I am using my boyfriend's Android as a 'Hot Spot' to get on here. Hopefully someone can help us.

A couple days ago, we awoke to find our router light ORANGE and it does this often but, normally we can unplug it and the modem and power cycle them and it works fine. This time however, we have power cycled til' were blue in the face and it still will not work. We have even taken the router out of the equation and plugged the DSL directly from the modem into the computer and it still will not work. All of the lights on the modem are green and showing good status and the computer says that it finds and is connected to our network but that it has no internet access. We thought that maybe the modem was going bad so I went next door and got my Sisters which was working fine at her house and hooked it up to my network and her's is saying the same thing... I am totally at a loss with what in the hell is going on...

Please, someone, anyone?

I use to have a similar problem with my Verizon DSL, which was a modem/router.

It actually happened more than once, Verizon replaced it with the same thing...so finally I just went to eBay and bought my own modem/router box.

Im guessing the box itself has gone bad.
