Terror Within & The Evil I didn’t like very much, Terror Within 2 was a bit better but not by much. Looking up some reviews Twice Dead one said the supernatural stuff is a very small part & most of it is dealing with a gang of punks. I’ll be passing on these.

Twice Dead, IMO, is a real gem. It has everything you could want in a low-budget Corman flick from the late 80s: A pretty good haunted house vibe, cute girls, bad fashion, a ridiculous street gang, and some amazingly effective gore effects. Not sure why this isn't better known, but it's great fun.

The Terrors Within are fun but standard-issue Alien rip-offs in an underground military installation after the end of the world. Good time wasters and certainly more competently made than a lot of this type of stuff. I have a soft spot for them, disposable as they are. If you like rubbery "man in suit" monster movies you'll probably find something to like. Think It! The Terror from Beyond Space but in color in the 80s (and with the same budget, unadjusted for inflation) -- that's about the level of acting/directing/screenwriting you should expect. I mean that as a compliment.

Yes, those screenshots pretty much tell the story. A few misplaced pieces near the end. And details missing, of course. It's more enjoyable playing out. In the early 90's when I rented Twice Dead on vhs, at moments it kind of reminded me of Andy Milligan's Carnage.
Both movies are getting high def
disc releases this winter. I must be dreaming!

Definitely in for some trash with Twice Dead but I’ll pass on The Terror Within. I’m not a huge Alien fan, I’m even less of a third rate Alien fan.

Well, I end up getting the Terror Within Fellows and pre-ordered those along with King Kong, Eyes of a Stranger and The Hand.

Quick question. Since the Terror Within comes out in February, but the other titles in May, will this ship out in February or in May with all the other titles?

Anyone else having issues with PayPal at Shout's site? After I selected PayPal and logged in, it just kept cycling me back to select the payment type again. I tried checking out on Firefox and Safari with no luck.

I eventually just had to use my credit card.

Some will find ways to get way more than five, sadly. These limited editions kind of act like instant "going oop" titles that generate high interest both from people wanting to mark them up and also people who don't want to pay those prices when they do sell out. Somewhere else in the pile is people who are just happy to see them on blu.
