Default New Style: Buying 1 Blu movie each day. Its great (:

Hi there (:

After a rather dry period, [UK] Blu Ray movies are coming to the shelves, and they are importet on the day and date with the release to the danish retailers specializing in imports.

My favourite store "LaserDisken", a high-end store for the nerds like me cut me a deal ^^

Starting this upcoming monday, I will recieve a Blu Ray movie each day. I spent several hours with them going over the priority list. If no movies on my priority list is available yet, or a priority company (Disney, Fox) has not released anything new, they will mail me a catalog title which I dont already have.

Damn this is cool (:

As for the billing, they will bill me 3 days in advance all the time with free shipping and handling.

In the end, I cut this deal to "limit" meself, lol.
Up until now, I calculated the average, and I have purchased 2 BD's/Day for the last week :S This cant go on, I must limit meself to 1BD/Day.

Go go! Make a similar deal. Its cool ^^

Hehe! Yeah I know how it feels.

For a period back a couple months I was sitting around like "WTF! I want more available Blu-ray movies!". Then a few weeks back it just went crazy.

Right now I think I'm around 10 Blu-ray's pr week, trying desperately to keep up to date.

It will probably get a lot worse before it gets better though because I intend to buy a region A BD player to supplement my region B PS3. I suspect some titles released in the US with region A coding will not be available in Scandinavia for some time. And a few titles lagg too far behind (2 months). And the cheap dollar currency right now makes it a lot cheaper also. But offcourse I see how it can undermine regional sales

Originaly I had thought I wouldnt re-purchase DVD titles that werent my favourites. But after discovering what they had been able to do to the Max Max 2: Road Warrior I just collapsed. I GOT to have anything Blu-ray that is of decent quality now

LaserDiscen is the best place. ALways been. Those guys are pros

As for the prices, I find them pretty ok.

VS other danish retailers, prices are excellent. VS online retailers, prices are fair - and you can pick up the movies in your favourite store without waiting for shipment.
