Has ANYONE ordered or seen this? I can't find a review of this or the Mexican release ANYWHERE

I heard that the Mexican release looks and sounds fantastic, but is missing two short scenes: Judah's betrayal and Jesus saying "one of you is about to betray me" during the Last Supper. These scenes were also missing from the last UK release. I hope the scenes will be on an eventual US release.

A huge JoN fan on IMDB posted his thoughts after he purchased and watched the Mexican version. He said that all previews and recaps were included and the scenes that were missing were in those previews, but not in the film. They are missing from the UK dvd versions as well. I hope the US version has those scenes and the previews/recaps. I wonder if we could contact Lionsgate and let them know before they release this.

JUST GOT MY GERMAN BLU RAY RELEASE OF JESUS OF NAZARETH. TOOK A QUICK LOOK. bETTER THAN THE U.S. DVD. WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO ADJUST COLOR LEVEL ( A Little SOFT) AND SOME PARTS SKIN TONE ON PINKISH SIDE SO MAYBE HUE ADJUSTMENT.may have to lower brightness a little. Once I watch the whole thing will give more details.

I watched this mini-series on NBC for the first time in April of 1979. There were some added scenes that I have never found since, except on on MPEG file I downloaded some years ago (it was an RAI broadcast).

The scenes included an extended dialogue between Zerah and Pilate, while Jesus is being flogged. In other words, when Zerah says to Pilate, "If you knew this man as we did procurator, you would also find him to be dangerous"... there is continued conversation. And when we see Zerah and Pilate watching the flogging, there is added discussion before that shot.

Any help finding this would be appreciated.
