Default New Disney Animated Marvel Film?

Found this article at Rope of Silicon just now, basically two quotes that tease some intresting informatin.

Quote:
That project, once announced will generate a lot of buzz in certain geek communities, as it's going to surprise a lot of people for what it is and what it's not. But it's in the very early embryonic stage and it depends on how well the project is received upon the presentation that is being prepared for John [Lasseter] and Ed [Catmull].
Then last week:

Quote:
The projects competing for 2014/2015 are the uber-secret film from Don Hall, which will be a marvelously unexpected project if it ever gets the green light, and Nathan Greno and Byron Howard's films which are deep in development.

Only way this would interest me if it was The Incredibles 2. I know fans may give a lot of outcry over this but I'm not too worried, the project may never see the light of day in the first place.

The only way I'd want Disney to do an animated Marvel film is if Pixar led the charge since I trust them to do it right. My hope would be we finally get to see something like the Dark Phoenix storyline from X-Men or Venom and Carnage from Spider-Man.

Ant Man? Dr. Strange?

I'll jump for joy once we have some indication that The Incredibles 2 is happening but I'm giving Bird all the time in the world on that one. I don't believe Lassetter, as long as he's around, would move ahead on that project unless Bird was in control as writer and director.

Pixar could do some amazing things with Marvel properties, but I'd hate for it to distract them from original output.

How about Marvel Superheros Secret Wars as there is like NO budget on earth that could make a film that features The Avengers, Fantastic Four, X Men, The Hulk and Spiderman!
