Today, NVIDIA announced their new GeForce successor the 680 GTX at a MSRP price of $499. The card is already available on newegg.com but is currently out of stock.

Looks good but I have no need to upgrade. My current 6950 2GB still rocks everything I throw at it.
Plus with the current trend of console first, PC second I think it is wise to wait till the next lot of console come in 2013 and see where PC games stand. |

I will definitely be upgrading to this card, or something similar in the Kepler series. I'm craving for an upgrade. I'm running SLI GTX 260's with a OC Q6600.
It's crazy how so many people are upgrading to this from the 500 series cards....but hey, I was a kid once to. |
