Why are the statistics going down for some films (e.g. collections, ratings, etc.)

I noticed in particular for Blue Velvet and Taxi Driver that the statistics for both films have dropped a little. Originally, I recall Blue Velvet being on the verge of 130 user votes (with a 8.5 rating), about 1,000 user collections and 72 fans. Now it has 115 user votes, 68 fans and 913 collections.

I'm sorry but that's a loss of over 60 ratings, fans and collections.. and I cannot for the life of me comprehend why this has happened. Databse problems, a glitch with the site... or ballot stuffing? Can someone please explain, because it happened to Taxi Driver's page also

it erased almost everything from the last 7 weeks, man. Time to rebuild!!!!

Because they were made BEFORE the 7-week period of the Data Loss.

Gah! I noticed this today. My collection was at 208 BDs and now it is down to 186.

Wow, I guess that means I bought 30 BDs in seven weeks, maybe thats a sign I should slow down.

Almost everything and anything that has happened over the last 7 weeks vanished like a fart in the wind. Not much can be done about it. But, apparently they are trying hard to recover whateer they can.
