Big yes for Naomie Harris in a crime drama, I wish it was in Chicago for that extra gritty gritty. Trailer is like an hour long, I didn't watch more than 30 seconds because I'd rather the movie not be ruined.

I wouldn't say that too quickly. It looks good visually but keep this in mind, the director of this and The Intruder also directed Traffik so my expectations aren't very high in the quality department.
That being said, it does look solid enough entertainment and it's enough for me to check out.

Watched this tonight and couldn't disagree more with the review on the home page.
Watched this with a packed theater which erupted into applause several times throughout the film and and at the top of the credits.
There isn't necessarily anything original or unique about this story but for me it worked on every level. It told an interesting and troubling story from a social perspective, good suspense, had its heart in the right place, likeable leads I cared for and was invested in their story and while you know things will turn out OK in the end for our hero you don't exactly know "how", it isn't play by play predictable.
I give it an 8 out of 10.
I watched the trailer again, and indeed it gives away the whole thing, so maybe it's best to avoid it.

Nafessa Williams is in this too from what I have heard. She is really good in Black Lightning so I am sure she kills it in this movie.

Well it's nothing earth-shattering but it's a solid little drama that is probably even more effective with African-American audiences, for reasons that should be obvious if you've seen the trailer. I was very lucky to watch it with an audience that was at least 60% AA.

Frank Grillo is usually an effective heavy but he seemed a bit subdued here.

It was okay. I'll give it a 2.5. Solid acting but pretty generic story and average action.
