How does this release compare to the other versions available ?

Picked this up when it was released and it blows the old Canadian release away. I'm not sure how it stacks up against the UK version although it appears to be 2 separate studio releases Lions Gate (UK) vs. Warner Bros. (JP).

im not sure about quality about usa movies but i think the quality is the same. only in the japanase anime you can appreciate some differences. but i dont know if this happens now with blu rays.
with japan anime dvds you can see that image video is better than other countries.
