I don't know if this exists elsewhere but I thought this might excite some folks. I think it's a great idea, and totally will be doing it later this month myself.

1080p with lossless audio? Licensed how? Is it going to somehow digitally mark my computer's hard disk? Do I have to sign in to some site and become a marketing tool? I think I'll avoid this. |

I imagine it'll be similar to the digital copy you transfer when it comes with your Blu-Ray optionally. I'm gonna do both, at least once to compare and contrast ofcourse, and if it ends up being how I expected, at least I can carry it around on a Kindle or iPod and my computer, I think that would be probably the best reason to do this kinda thing with the in between time of movies processing into Blu-Ray.

With Vudu joining forces with UltraViolet and iTunes allowing you to re-download or stream digital copies through the Apple TV. I have become a fan of the Digital Realm for movies and tv. It adds so much to the convenience and takes up so much less space around the house for storage storage. I personally have a digital library now of about 900 movies and hundreds of TV Shows. It took some figuring out but it is much easier and you don't have to worry about other people leaving your discs out or loosing them. I still got with Bluray on a lot of titles mostly 3D ones and really have no complaints. For this particular title I will hold out as I am planning on getting it in 3D but at a $10-$15 price I think this could catch on.

I agree with most, useless, if I did not see a film in theatres, a week or two more won't make a difference. And unless they start offering BD quality DL, I don't see a reason for it.
