Any one getting Conan for PS3

I have seen some screen shots and videos of this game. It reminds a little of GOW. Is any one planning on getting this. It is due out a week before R&C

I still don't know enough about it to buy it. I sheepishly admit that I am a Conan fan though...so that may have some swing in my decision.

It looks pretty mediocre to me. The gameplay seems shallow and the graphics are weak.

The original Xbox version got pretty weak reviews over at Metacritic. So I'll have to see some really shiny reviews of this one to bother.

A nice God of War-style hack&slasher would hit the spot though.

It is Conan! And graphic . It will be a fun game at least. Not expecting legendary. It is being released around the same time as the online RPG Conan game which also looks kind of rad.

It follows the books more than the movies.

The problem with this game, is its coming out in the middle of a ps3 software media blitz. There are so many games I want, this one is probably going to be overlooked. Maybe a good rental

Just downloaded and played the demo, had to grow on me a little but i'm deffinitely buying this one as well. Camera angles need work, the game's lighting is a little dark and the charecters in the game aren't the best looking but his game will serve as my redemtion from heavnly sword.

I played the 360 demo last week, and was seriously underwhelmed, so I was kinda expecting the same for the PS3 version. I wanted to compare the two side by side, but just ran through it quick tonight, and didnt turn on the 360.

Both versions have some great background or 'world' visuals. Now, not ALL of the world, but a few things here and there. like rock texture, and things like that. The character models, part of me wants to say 'this is not next gen'. But it IS, I just think its missing something, which ends up making it look... almost 'sloppy' is the word I guess i want to use for it.

but what i do like is that it is 'challenging' to a point. the badguys dont die 'instantly' like in GoW or similar games. well, some of the more regular guys will go down in one shot depending on the situation, but even they might stay standing after a combo or two. i like that.

while playing tonight, i wanted to give the PS3 version a slight advantage in overall graphics, but it could be my mind playing tricks on me. hopefully ill sit down and compare the two side by side this weekend.

still undecided on a 'buy' or not. if the game is long, i think i might have fun with it.

Im gonna pass on Conan, wasnt too impressed by it. Ill stick to Ratchet, Guitar Hero, COD4 and Assassins Creed

I only got a chance to play this demo once. It was fun. But the graphics are weak. This is a rental if anything.

I guess if there's a lot of nudity in the game that might up the ante.
