Default How Much Space Between Rows?

If i were to have a 137" 16:9 Screen.
and if the front rows eyes were to be 12' from the Screen.

How much space is usually needed for another row?
The seats are recliners.

Also how high is the average riser?

Thanks

It's going to depend entirely on how long (deep) the seats are at full recline.

My riser is built out of 2x6's because I had extras laying around. Because of where the bottom on my screen is that height works for me.

6.5' is the general recommendation. I have mine at 5'6", and it's too close, in the sense that the seats touch when reclined (not a real issue, but doing it over, I'd make it at least 6'). The 6.5' distance makes it possible for someone to get around a fully reclined seat.

My risers are 12" high...

both of those will depend on what you can do and how comfortable you want things.

The reason for the riser is so that the people in the back row can see the whole image without the people in the first row being in the way.

the minimum distance will be so that both rows can be reclined at the same time (i.e. if the front row moves back when reclined that needs to be taken in consideration), but you might want to add a bit so that the guys shoes in the second row are not in the hair of the guy in the first one, you might want to add a bit a couple of feet so that if someone wants to move everyone else does not need to move their seat. On the other hand since the bottom of the screen will most likely be below the head of the person in front of you, the more difference between the seats the higher the back seat needs to be

Im not sure what lengths i need so far.
I want to get some sockets into the ground for some electric recliners etc.
but do not know the distances yet.

If you have 2 Rows could you tell me

- Your Screen Size
- Distance from front of the seat to screen
- Distance of second row seat to screen
- Riser height

Thanks
