I apologize if this has been covered in here by one of the many experts. My TV, center, front left and right main, and sub are all placed against a wall, in which the other side of the wall is my daughters bedroom. Does a rear port (facing that wall) make the bass louder in her room than a front firing sub pointed at the opposite wall with a port in the front or side?
