Yes please! I agree with Roger Ebert, it's a masterpiece. One of the best docudramas.

This is a great and very underrated film, IMO! I liked this much better than Larry Clark's more well known film Kids. I would definitely buy this on Blu-ray to upgrade from my DVD.

The movie really creeps me out for some reason, maybe it its the cold attitude of the kids towards human life and how a few of them are so willing to take one. The ending is one of my favorite endings out of all movies.

I used to live next door to the shopping plaza where many of the events in the film took place...as they were happening. I had no clue.

Day 1 for me.

Used to own this and Kids on DVD. All my dvds were stolen from my garage so I would love for these two movies to come to Blu.

I watched Bully tonight for the first time in years. I love how the atmosphere keeps you feeling uneasy throughout. Lisa is the only unbearably annoying character in the movie imo. I think a Blu-ray transfer of Bully would look pretty good, but I honestly don't see this happening anytime soon. Never say never though, right??

Haven't thought about this film in a while. LC's Bully is an extremely disturbing flick that really gets under your skin. I saw it for the first time on DVD back in the 200X's, and what especially struck me was that the bully was actually "friends" with the kid(s) he was victimizing. And, I never understood why the kid(s) put up with him; the main victim (the BF character) could easily have gotten out of the situation without eliminating the bully, but chose not to.

As a "true crime" story, this is definitely one of the most chilling I've ever seen.

Brad Renfro was especially solid here; he didn't even seem to be acting - his performance was that good. Sad that he passed 6-7 years later.

I do hope it gets released to Blu, if only because the DVD is OOP & tough to track down these days. I'm not sure they can do much with the PQ, which IIRC was intentionally meant to look like a documentary.

IMDB gives 5 movies called Bully. And that's not even counting the shorts.
So highly doubtful. The other 4 are also more recent.

Unfortunately it's not. The movie on preorder is a new movie, the synopsis I found for the Blu-ray release reads: "A coming-of-age comedy about Jimmy, a shy, heavy-set high school kid who is constantly tormented by the school bully. But after a chance meeting with a former professional boxer, Jimmy decides to learn how to fight back."
