Canada Bond on blu. The final 9!

Ok I know in the US the 9 movies are spread out over 3 retailers, Target, Best Buy and Walmart. I checked and all I can find on any retailers site is Futureshop showing The Spy who Loved me
Anyone know who if anyone will be carrying the balance. Bestbuy, HMV and if so who will have what?

Ugh. I'm in the same boat as you. The lack of information on these releases here in Canada is woeful! I found the 6 titles on Future Shop's website then went to look at Best Buy and Wal-Mart with no luck. So I gave FOX in Mississauga a call and spoke with their friendly (but useless) customer service. According to them NONE of the 9 titles in question are coming on Blu-ray next week and they have no idea why the FS website has them listed!!! I guess someone at Future Shop made up special cover images, complete with annoying French translations, just for a joke ;-)

Anyway, if anyone figures out where the other 3 titles are going to be please let us know.
This makes me want to give FOX my money even less especially after changing the damn artwork on us!!!

Just got off the phone with FS and I had them check their system and indeed they list the movies on their system for Oct release!
Here's keeping our fingers crossed! Let's just find the remaining three movies.

BTW wookalar love the most wanted list! Nothing on there that I wouldn't have in my collection when it's released

I definitely want to know for sure if Canadian Walmart stores will carry Goldeneye on blu-ray.
I really like the $9.99/movie price listed at Futureshop on the titles they will be carrying.

Is there any confirmation (besides the listing on this site) that these new releases will have slipcovers?

I'm strongly considering going the individual route, as it will be $90 to complete the set (I already have all 13, including the CE of Casino Royale), as opposed to about $115 assuming I can sell the ones I have for $5 apiece.

The bonus disc is not worth $25 to me

Plus I like individual cases better

Not sure about slipcovers. Doubt they will have them.
As for the $90 cost, it's a lot better then $180
I also prefer individual covers, least till I start running out of storage space! lol
Regarding the other three, I'm thinking Walmart will have them since they will have them in the US

I'm hoping Wal-Mart has them

Goldeneye and Octopuss'y have been at the top of my list since the hiatus and of course they both have to be 2 of the 3 that Future Shop is not carrying!

Will most definitely be picking up OHMSS and View To A Kill on October 2nd though

I hate that they're making us wait an extra week just because we don't want the box set though

Where can you find official word on these releases? I see the three on Wal-mart but nothing on the other 6? The information on these is no better in the US than Canada.

Walmart American site has the three listed but on the Canadian site nothing but then again the Canadian site has never really been that complete regarding anything! Just have to wait till next Tuesday.

The "other 6" are being carried by Future Shop...

It's the 3 US Wal-Mart titles we're not sure about

It's looking like those six that FS are carrying will indeed be exclusive. Hard to nail down the info. It does look like that unless the ones listed on FS and which ever other store will carry the balance that if we don't see them now then it won't be until early 2013 before everyone else will have them!

I already own the 13 previously released titles in BD. They are mostly unresaleable for me, because nobody in my surrounding are using BD. I also prefere individual cases. So I decided to pass on the new set and I have preordered the six new titles from Future Shop. I will be searching for a source for the remaining three from now-on!

Good call!

It's always cooler to keep the original releases anyways

I like the original covers better, you had Bond, his girl and his car (or helicopter or whatever) visible through the gunbarrel. Plus you had the shiny gold slipcovers.

These new releases have boring art, plus there's a helicopter on the TMWTGG cover, but there wasn't even a chopper in the movie

I just ran through the new flyers for FS, BB & WM in Toronto. Best Buy has the same 6 titles advertised as Future Shop and there is no Bond whatsoever in the Wal-Mart flyer.

Somebody has to be selling those last 3 titles here... don't they???
