Is there a master list of movies that have been altered or changed for their blu-ray releases from the theatrical versions?

Such as....

The Patriot
Donnie Brasco
Star Wars Trilogy...

etc?

I watched it the other day and the runtime is 2 seconds longer than my theater cut dvd. A most welcome surprise for me as I loathe extended versions with no creative input, just a cash-grab for the studios. I wonder if Hollowman is really the Director's Cut on the 2-pack with Hollowman 2. If it is the DC, then Hollowman belongs on this list.

Menace II Society, although you have to know what to look for for it to feel any different to you. Just a few extra swibs and gunshots.

As far as I'm concerned, every print of the theatrical cut should be torched.

Are we sticking to North American releases?

Miami Vice is available in its theatrical form practically everywhere but North America.

The UK release of Payback has both cuts and I'm sure Underworld is available in Holland and possibly elsewhere, as the theatrical cut.

Blade Trinity: US release is extended cut only. Theatrical version available in Canada and the Netherlands.

Oh, thanks for that. Not a big fan of the extended cut either.

Zodiac (2007) - Director's cut on Blu only, theatrical on DVD only.

Bad Santa has the extended and director cut only.

Friday is an extended directors cut only...which is extremely unfortunate.

The Ghost Writer - Canada non edited version
Dances With Wolves - UK has theatrical cut

Reindeer Games*-Canada has theatrical cut
Manhunter - UK has directors and theatrical
Troy - HD-DVD has theatrical cut
Wild Things - Finland has theatrical cut

I've owned The Wedding Singer on blu for years - never realized it was an extended version.

Would really like to see theatrical versions of Stripes and Dumb and Dumber on blu someday..

Who would want to go back to that pile of crap? The DC is hardly watchable as it is, the theater was even more of a mess! I love the comic series and HBO animated but would never want to go back to PG-13 on this one.

Amadeus is only the DC much to my girlfriend's sorrow. She loves the theater cut and hates the DC material. I feel the same way about Friday, the DC isn't half as funny as the theater. Warriors comic bugs me too.

Dumb and Dumber is coming out as anniversary edition this year. As far as I know it will be the theatrical.

Rob Zombie's Halloween and Halloween II are only the available on Blu Ray in the US as director's cuts (which are not as good as the theatrical versions, IMO).

The theatrical versions have been issued in other countries on Blu-ray.
