whats the fair price for a 1 year old epson 8350?

The retail price is still about $1300, and many places still sell at that price, but it's not too hard to find the projector below $1000, even new; look for used sales on ebay or even sites like videogon.com for reference. Not many projectors at the $1500 range have lens shift or the flexibility of the Epson 8350.
A used one at $700-$800 sounds fair, depending how much of the warranty is used and how long the bulb is used. |

and the bulk hours on it would be a big factor. if it's under a 1000 hours he might get $600-$700 for it... but any less........ I see them go for $350 - $450 all the time on craigslist with between 1000-2000 hours on them. |
