Default What is your favorite Christmas album/CD?

I'm now at the point where I am only listening to Christmas music up until December 25th. This is my all time favorite.......

I usually don't listen to full albums but just compilations. However, these two favorites since childhood could easily get me through the month if they were all I listened to.

Been listing to this one this morning. Honestly, it's pretty uninspired and screams cash grab. I would've loved a Steve Perry Christmas album about 30 years ago but this feels a little too late to the party. I'd give anything for Adele to do a Christmas album. The tone of her voice would be amazing for that.

I love Harry Connick Jr.'s albums a lot, including his Christmas compilations. I also enjoy NSYNC's "Home for Christmas", and Darius Rucker's "Home for the Holidays".

I like a little bit from a lot of non country acts. The following are my most favorite.

Hall & Oates, Eagles, Huey Lewis & The News, New Kids On The Block, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, Tears For Fears, Train, John Mellancamp, Witney Houston, Patti Labelle, Amy Grant, Lionel Ritchie, and Phil Collins.

There are others, but the ones that I name here are the ones that I like more than just one song from. Right now, I'm thinking about the song from Led Zepplin that I love so much.

God bless you and the awesome singer who are still here always!!!

Holly

P.S. One of my favorite soundtrack releases is the one to go with the first Beverly Hills Cop film. Not even one country song is included.

I recently listened to the Backstreet Boys' new Christmas album, and it was a lot of fun. They took a lot of standards and amplified them, and I think there might have been a couple of new ones too, because I'd never heard them before.
