I can't afford a nice multi-channel setup so I plan to use what I have.
I currently have a Kenwood KR-9600, and a pair of vintage DCM Timewindow 1A's. I hate to admit it but here's how I currently have things hooked up: Ps3-> TV via HDMI TV-> 3.5mm out-> RC male/3.5mm female-> RC into receiver DCM's-> receiver via speaker wire I also have a record player hooked into the receiver. Is there a different setup I can use? Would I benefit from an amp? Is there anyway to get an HDMI into the TV somehow through the Kenwood? I don't know as much as I would like to about audio components. 9600: http://www.randallareed.com/Kenwood_KR_9600.htm (good rear pics) http://www.hifi-wiki.com/index.php/Kenwood_KR-9600 DCM's: http://www.oaktreevintage.com/Stereo_Speakers.htm (4th row down, on the left!) http://www.world-designs.co.uk/forum...ead.php?t=5056 Last edited by JohnCarpenterLives; 02-19-2013 at 11:03 PM. |
