Go For It (2011) Blu-ray 3D [Region Free]

So i just recieved my pre order from amazon for Go for it 3D, the amazon listing said nothing of it being a uk import.
but it is. my question before i open is does anyone know if this is region free i dont see any region listing A B or C and on the amazon site it says region A, and the artwork doesnt show the UK raitings codes that are on the cover.
Any help, before i open it?

I think that is an updated listing they put up, because when i click on the link in my invoice it doesnt say region free.
I guess they only got a few in stock, because that link says items is no longer availble

I will probably go ahead and open it, when i watch ill post an update.

I am going into it with low expecatations on the 3D conversion, since this was not originally filmed or released theatrically in 3D.
but even if the 3D isnt great, it wont be a total wash since they never even bothered with a US 2D bluray release after its theatrical run.
We hosted the premiere for this at work, and i surprisingly thought it was a decent movie.

SO i went ahead and opened it, And it is indeed region free.

The 3D is a decent enough conversion, nothing to write home about though.
Its definately just adding depth to the picture.
This is not like Step Up 3D, where you get stuff comin at ya.
so again not the best conversion, but i have seen much much worse.
There really was no need to do a 3D conversion for this movie, its not step up (thankfully its actually better story wise in my opinon ) but I am definately glad I bought it primarily because we never got a release of the theatrical 2D version of the film on bluray here in the states.

Man, I wish I checked this thread before. I could've told you NOT to open it and just return it.

I got the UK copy few weeks ago and started watching. Turned it off about 20 minutes in and never had the desire to watch the rest. Sure, some movies get better as movie progress but I knew this wasn't one of that movie.

Yeah, I also was hoping for some Step Up 3D kind of 3D. Was majorly disappointed...

I had allready previously seen the movie, we hosted the premiere for it back in 2011. I liked the movie, I wouldnt have bought it if i didnt like it.

That's too bad the 3D wasn't as good. Was this a 2D to 3D conversion do you think, or filmed in 3D?

I know it wasnt filmed in 3D, as it was in 2D when we hosted the world premeire and nothing was mentioned about 3D being a thought at all with this film when Carmen and Aimee spoke before the movie began, And its theatrical release that followed was also 2D.

I was tempted to pick this up after enjoying Step Up 3 and 4 but i won't bother now after reading this thread.
