Ratchet & Clank PS2 Era Games Getting HD Remastered Collection Treatment

Ratchet & Clank HD Collection Spotted

It seems Sony is readying another HD collection of classic PlayStation 2 games.

Amazon France has a product listing for Ratchet & Clank HD Collection. It has a release date of May 16, 2012. No other details from the listing were revealed.

This doesn't confirm a collection is coming just yet, but history shows it's likely to be true. To date, Sony has released HD collections for God of War, Sly Cooper, ICO & Shadow of the Colossus, and Jak and Daxter.

Game Informer has contacted Sony for comment.

Jak & Daxter was only leaked in October and came out the very start of February so that wasn't that long either. These don't take long to get ready since most of the hard work is done already

Probably never going to happen since Insomniac games didn't add trophy support for Resistance Fall Of Man when they released the Resistance double pack last year.

I never got a chance to play any of the PS2 Ratchet games. I only started with the PS3 ones. I've always wanted to play the PS2 ones, though. So, this is good new for me. Though, I can't say I am surprised by this, though. It seemed kind of obvious with all the latest HD collections coming out. Especially since Sly and Jak got HD collections released.

That's not what Konami did when they delayed the MGS HD collection 'till February. ANTI EUROPEAN BIAS!

Its too bad that there appears to be no Deadlocked. Its definitely the weakest of the PS2 games, but it was still pretty cool.

You know, there is a chance that it might end up on a volume 2 collection, with the 2 PSP games.

It's coming out next week for UK and Australia. But North America has to wait until September. What is the surprise we are supposed to be getting?
