Cinemanow Jack Reacher pre-order??? - Blu-ray Forum

I bought this pre-order card from Best Buy. I redeemed it but it is not UV therefore, it is not showing up in VUDU. Will they add this to UV and will it show up in VUDU then?

No. CinemaNow does not have authorization to sell Paramount movies with UV rights. Hopefully they will work something out soon.

Yeah after they burnt me on Django I'll never do another preorder from them.

I had heard Cinemanow was bad, but this is just plain ridiculous. Never doing another pre-order.

I hate to defend them, but their pre-orders that were UV enabled worked fine (Bourne Legacy, etc...). I'd say just pull your phone out when you are at best buy and see if there is a UV logo before you pre-order. If not got to walmart. They have Jack Reacher with a bonus UV movie. If you already pre-ordered through bestbuy.com just cancel it. They do not charge you even if you already redeemed the code.

I don't mind doing the pre-order through Best Buy that gets you the CinemaNow but I will only do it if the movie is from a studio that CinemaNow can sell UV rights.

I redeemed Django CineamaNow code but there was no UV logo so I get the BD in the mail and redeem the UV code then it shows up twice in my CinemaNow account once with a uv logo and the other without the logo.

Don't ask for the iTunes code because I also used it.

Yeah that infuriates me. My Taken 2 experience was great but Django ruined it for me.
