United Kingdom Raging Bull 30th Anniversary Special Edition

http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/1...n/Product.html

For all fans of double dipping its scheduled for 21-2-11. Found it a pound cheaper originally on hmv, but play have all the disc extras listed and cover art.

PRE ORDER

I've never seen this one, but De Niro and Pesci do it for me so I might get it .

Will this be using the same transfer as before? If so, I'll pass. Most of the extras are the same so don't mind missing out on a couple of new ones.

I haven't yet bought the disc currently available, so this looks very tempting indeed.

Yes, it's the same transfer. One of the more unnecessary releases of 2011.

Alright, thanks a lot! Might just order from the US, with shipping comes to around £12-13, so near enough the same price as UK version.

Unfortunately not at my Tesco's! Went there today to grab me some bargains and they didn't have it. Is it this new release or the old one in the promotion?

This is odd. Why are they re-releasing this since it's already got a great blueray release and had two great DVD releases. This is odd since the selling point seems to be new extra features which don't appear to be treated the same as they were when DVD started and now there are mayn bluray releases without extras.

I think its the same transfer anyway, seemingly the only reason for re-release is 20th Century Fox taking advantage of the MGM situation.
Unless there's some exclusive extras, I don't see the need to double-dip
