Zero Dark Thirty barely in stock anywhere?

It seems like something's going on with the Blu-ray release of Zero Dark Thirty as it's barely in stock anywhere and JB Hi-Fi has even pulled the standard edition completely off their website.

This is really frustrating cause the only stores in the Sydney city area that I know of that sell Blu-ray's at a good price is mainly JB Hi-Fi. And I refuse to pay extra for their limited edition that they had in stock yesterday which appears to only have different, uglier cover-art. Did the studios behind Zero Dark Thirty only print a limited run of Blu-rays in Australia and underestimated the demand or was there a problem with the discs being printed?

Icon posted on their facebook page yesterday spruiking the JB limited edition so I've commented asking about the differences and the stock of the standard

I bought the Limited Edition from JB the other day. They only stock the limited edition, don't remember there being a standard edition. The only difference between the editions is the exclusive slipcover JB has. Don't think is anything to worry about.

I can't believe they had the balls to charge an extra $4 for a cardboard slipcover. While I wait a week or however long it takes for stores to have the Blu-rays instock again do you mind telling me what subtitles are included with the movie?

In NZ, JB are charging the same price for both, a shame Aus isn't doing the same.

I give Icon props for a prompt answer to my query so I didn't bother pointing out that JB are charging $4 for an ugly slip

Icon Film Distribution Australia Hi Melmac, the limited edition features special packaging but the content is the same as the standard blu-ray. The sleeve is exactly the same as the standard blu-ray once you remove the o-ring. JB Hi Fi will revert to stocking the standard edition once the limited edition is sold out.

I just picked up the limited ed in NZ JBHifi, same price as standard ed and got 25% off on their sale, $21 woot!
They had plenty of both at least 20each.

same here! only just the limited edition though. Great that they have the sale on too.
