Oooh, that's tempting. Will this be just a repackaging job or will the disc be remastered in any way, do we know?

I love the artwork that you mentioned so might get it just because of that.

I'll just ask them on one of these. I doubt they will remaster just for this release, with no plans for any anniversary edition in the works, but it would be nice if they could get hold of a better print and restore from that.

I bought this ages ago in HMV for £3 and Ive still not watched it, my copy has the 'dartboard' cover and has 'anchor bay' on the back and disk so Im guessing its the better transfer version I have??

Im gonna have to get it watched and if I like if I might get the steel, Im also a fan of Ralph Steadman's illustrations, so if the steel features his artwork it could look very nice.... I'll just do the old disk switcheroo...

tbh the difference between the transfers is not much but the anchor bay is marginally better...its worth the switcheroo for the extras alone. The Studio Canal release was rubbish

That's exactly the same deal I got it for. At that point I wasn't into Blu-rays as much as I was DVDs, but £3 was a deal I just couldn't pass up. Even the guy who served me couldn't believe the price.
