Default The perfect steelbook!!

I recentially bought a bunch of the WM steelbooks, now carried at best buy and target and I notice that some of them are "bent" and I mean bent in the fact that when you close it the sides dont perfectly match up (vertically) they are not completely flush. My question is, is this normal with steels or are these technicaly in bad shape or am I just being a perfectionist?? It varies from movie to movie maybe by like a qtr inch!! I had them stacked in stacks of 10 for a bit but I doubt they would bend like that, that quickly!!

Thanks!!

Pretty much all the V for Vendettas right now have a slight dent on the bottom, front casing, on the right side. It must be a problem with the manufacturing of this Steelbook in particular because I haven't seen this problem with the other Steelbooks from this line of releases.

As I stated to a friend earlier, the people that hoard sealed steelbooks only have a 30% chance of them actually being mint mint/in perfect shape. Most have anomalies of some description.

At the factory they can produce steelbooks with -

Dimples
Paint Chips
Dents
Packers slash the spines

At the post office -

Dents/bent

Only a fraction of these anomalies can be noticed with the factory seal on. So if you really want to see if your steels are perfect, you have to open them. Expecting some kind of perfect service buying steelbooks.. Well, good luck with that.

Mine are open I just notice what you say, case "overbite"...like the top is slightly longer than the bottom or vice versa, is this a defect??

Those people should just buy a high-grade shrinkwrap machine to make sure their sealed copies are in fact undamaged.
