Gmail, everything else should be sentenced to death!!!!

Well, uhm. Hotmail doesn't have to die, but they should feel a lot of shame and guilt!!!!!!!!!!

bam! there it is

i used to use hotmail, but when i interned at a web design company back in 2005 one of the guys there told me about gmail.

i looked into it and have looked back since. never had a problem with spam or anything of that sort getting into my inbox.

Am I the only one that can't stand Gmail? I've been using hotmail since 2004 (still using my e-mail address since then, surprisingly) and love it. Also, I have another e-mail at AOL mail (love.com) and I love it. Gmail is too plain looking for me.

Gmail is definately the way to go. I agree with what Serendipity said about it. I couldn't imagine using anything else.
And if Gmail is too plain looking to you, you haven't used it enough and haven't navigated everything because you can change the background to pretty much anything you want. Yahoo Mail sucks, IMO.

I've used Hotmail as my main address for years and Gmail as a back up, but now that Hotmail has switched to Outlook I'm thinking of just dropping them and using Gmail exclusively...

It amazes me how no one seems to care about their complete loss of even the concept of privacy, and are okay with the fact that their personal information is traded/sold around the world when using "free" email providers such as Gmail, Hotmail, etc. And that's nothing compared 100% of everyone's activity being fed to the NSA by these guys.

Keep acting like they don't have access to your paid email....

Never claimed they didn't, however my email provider is not bending over backwards to willingly provide unfettered access to whatever Big Brother wants.

Gmail is the best.

Yahoo is full of spam and with AOL, one of my accounts got hacked.
