Are the Polk R50's any good? - Blu-ray Forum

I have been looking aorund on different forums as to what would be the cheapest way to upgrade my existing HTiB audio system, and I have come across the Polk R50's on sale from Fry's. I am just looking for some input. I konw they are not the best speakers, but they are selling them for $70 a pair. I plan on usings them for mains and surround.

They are a lot better than the HTIB that I HAD. They sound very good, certainly there are better out there, but for the money I tink these are very good. By the way I have them paired with the r150 bookshelfs as my surrounds and it is plenty.
