Default Can a scratch on a Bluray disc get worse over time ?

Can a scratch on a Bluray that does not affect play now, eventually get worse and skip or become unplayable from just playing the disc ?

Say, from it spinning in it's drive and being ejected from the player. Will a scratch become more prone to getting deeper or larger from just normal use ?

I would say no, although I'm not sure. I have Top Gun on CD my first ever CD it has quite a few small scratches on it and it still plays fine after 20 years.

It will stay the same...I would not worry about it.
