Oh boy, that better NOT be anything close to what the artwork will look like, especially in contrast to the pretty awesome art for TASM Steel.

I'll never understand why it's apparently so difficult for these "designers" to just follow themes set by prior releases. So frustrating.

Hoping this isn't the final design. Do they usually mock up temp artwork on the steelbook packaging though? For the Divergent steelbook listing at Futureshop it's just the poster with "artwork not final" across it.

i hated part 3... but Raimi's parts 1 and 2 i really enjoyed...

When I said "to each their own", I was talking about "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", not "Spider-Man 3".

There is still hope that Wal-Mart America will be doing a steelbook. When the Man Of Steel steelbook was released it was an exclusive to both Futureshop & Wal-Mart so it could happen.

Best Buy could also have it, they had The Amazing Spider-Man Steelbook that Future Shop carried up here.

I feel sorry for Future Shop having to sell this Steelbook. After giving us solid art for The Amazing Spider-Man, to go to something so terrible for the sequel. Even the back art is terrible.

I think Sony just wants all the special editions of this movie to fail with this extremely crappy Steelbook art and the arguably even worse creepy Electro head packaging.

Here's to hope there is a decent Steelbook release somewhere in the world.

I thought Best Buy already had an exclusive listed. Like a comic or something. I doubt they'd release two exclusives.

So no 3D again? They did the same for the last steelbook. What's worse is that the US DID get the 3D version as well in their steelbook.

While I don't love the border, I do like the image. Seeing the main villain through Spidey's eye is pretty cool. There are better images for the cover, but there are worse ones too. All I know is that it will look great with my BB exclusive steelbook of the original.
