Does anyone have one of these cheap multi-region Blu-ray players? I got mine back in 2010 from HMV (UK) for around £50, you can select Blu-ray region via the remote. I believe there are several versions of this machine (clones)!?
I am now having problems with it, discs skip and jump! I have taken the machine apart, it is very basic! The Blu-ray drive is Sata, I have connected an old Pioneer internal PC drive to it, it plays retail DVD and Blu-ray films on BD-R discs but fails to play retail Blu-rays! Does any tekkies now why it isn't playing retail Blu-ray discs? Maybe the players motherboard needs to see the original BR drive in order to decrypt the discs??
