i think its a bit random. For me worked with Transformers 2 & 3, thor, cap amaerica, Iron Man 3, but not with Despicable Me 2. Ah well saved me 10 pounds.

Just tried it again on Iron Man 3.
Still didn't work.

Which tells me 1 of 2 things:
1. The 200 customers limit was reached.
2. Or that the code and offer were very random.

It didn't even work on some things that have been out for months, whilst I managed to get a couple of pre-orders to accept it. I'm not sure zavvi staff really know what they are talking about sometimes.
