United Kingdom Harry Potter Collection Question

I'm looking at buying a complete collection and wondered if anything has been released that contains all the extended cuts?

There are only 2 extended cuts, and they are in the Ultimate editions or collected in the Wizards collection

AFAIK, only the first 2 movies have the extended cut. All the other releases are the theatrical only.

As for the collections they're available in, the only way to get both extended cuts together would be to get the Wizard's Collection (Large collector's set), or to just get the 1st and 2nd movie in their Ultimate Edition versions. The only issue being the extended versions being on DVD on the latter and on BD on the former. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

The Extended versions are on BDs in the US Ultimate Edition sets, it was Warner being cheap and only putting on DVDs here to save money.

You are correct only way to get on BD with a UK release is buying the Wizards set. Has recently been down to £110 at Entertainment Store and Zavvi with voucher when I finally took the plunge.

Yeah, get the Wizards Collection.
Don't bother with the Ultimate Edition sets, as there has not been a UK release of "Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and Part 2" in that line, meaning that an Ultimate Editions set would never be complete!

(Yes, I am still annoyed that WB hasn't released the Deathly Hallows Ultimate Edition over here, as I now have an incomplete set, which drives me crazy sometimes because of my OCD, and I don't want to pay £70 to import the US release!! )

Not sure.
It would do though. Might have a few bonus features missing, if that means anything to you.

Not really interested in the features, I'd just like a finalised set.

Instead Warner Bros. just re-release year after year and changing a bit here and a bit there.

I might just hold out for a bit as no doubt they will be getting another complete collection together before Christmas.

In that case, go with the Wizards Collection.
Just make sure you've got the money first, lol.

(It's too bad that companies like Amazon don't have any kind of monthly payment plan for high price items. Would make things much easier!)

Yeah, I have that "Ultimate" edition set (yeah, right) and it's just the theatrical movies split over BD and DVD.

The good news is that each of the first two movies does contain both versions of the film, theatrical and extended. That said, I can't 100% guarantee the UK version would have the same discs as the Aussie release, so I'd recommend trying to track down the latter if you can; it is region free.

Hope this helps.
Perfect, DVDs are superfluous anyway I'm glad there is a set without them. Now I just need to track it down, is this the one? https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Harry...Blu-ray/30903/
