This was one of my most anticipated films (Diablo Cody is one of my favourite writers) but the trailer is slightly disappointing. Plus Russell Brand as the love interest?

It's going VOD route so we couldn't see it in theatres even if we wanted to.

I would actually be LESS interested if it was that. Prometheus was okay, but certainly not worthy of a sequel.

not entirely true. It's getting a very limited theatrical release in like October. I've never understood why they bother doing that with VOD releases. Maybe some kind of contractual thing where the director or producer was guaranteed it would get released theatrically, so they do that as the bare minimum to fulfill obligations?

Diablo Cody is one of the worst writers and everything she has done is garbage. Hated Juno, Jennifer's Body, and Young Adult. Not even touching Evil Dead. And passing on this.

Looks pretty embarrassing. I can't call it a bad film because I'll never actually watch it, but I will say the trailer looks bad enough that I just know its something I never have to bother with. Trailer seems like what you see is what you get.

I actually kind of enjoyed Young Adult, but nothing else from Cody. And this looks like lame predictable cutesy indie shit trying to be edgy by mocking Christians which has become passe by now.

She's not even credited for Evil Dead so I don't think she had her hands on that one too much.
