Finally! Now I can get it! I know the JP version has been out for ages, but it's not English friendly - at least this one brings English subtitles.

Would love to see Warriors Two and Dreadnaught on blu. Those would go well with Prodigal Son and Magnificent Butcher. But, as far as JC movies go, I am just waiting on Snake in the Eagles Shadow to hit blu. Well, of course, if Drunken Master is ever released then that would be extra icing on the cake.

It seems to be pretty well known that the FS back catalog has been upscales so far. Only 3 BL films are true HD. But, even if the rest are upscales, some of them do look a lot better than the previous dvd versions.

got mine today. as expected, transfer is an upscale and a pretty fugly one at that. Doesnt come close to the Echo Bridge transfer.

Hi Jackie Chan fans,

i don't have yet Armour of God (my favorite J.C. Movie) on Blu-ray, but on this DVD...



The Picture quality ain't bad at all, and I'm glad its dubbed on German with a familiar voice to my ears! Sorry, i cant stand hearing Chinese Actors speaking English. Now i like to share with you the filming Location were J.C. almost lost his life, by falling real deep on hard ground ! Some of you might knows that movie was made (most part) in former Country Yugoslavia, that was long ago my home Country.The cool thing are, that particular Location are a Real Castle in Ruins, which is just around the corner were i used to live and play as kid.

Samobor castle is not far from the city centre and is lovely spot to visit if only to imagine the former building that once stood here. The castle was built in the medieval times on the orders of King Ottokar II and has sadly since been neglected. It was constructed in the gothic style and had round towers. You can still see the remains of the moat and some of the walls are still standing with a large entrance.

Armour of God was co-produced by Jadran Film (Croatia, formerly Yugoslavia).

There's no English spoken by the Chinese actors. Even the Europeans are dubbed into Cantonese.

Previous post did say the country Yugoslavia.
And I think he/she is saying they would prefer to hear a proper dub than to hear Chinese people try to speak english, not that it was in english.

Sure why not, but Jadran Film Company ain't from Czech Republik, it was ever and still are at Zagreb / Croatia!
Czech Republik has nothing in common with former country Yugoslavia, not far away from each other but still separate!

Nope... The poster (Me) had no other Film on his mind! Chinese / English or not, i prefer seeing that Movie dubbed in German, plain and simple! Instead arguing for no reason, you could say at least thank you Branko for such unique post! How about that???
