Good amp to power a 3 ohm sub?

I might be able to snag a deal on a brand new jl 12w7 and I was thinking of using it in my home theater (I would get a proper box for it, or have one built for me) But I would need an amp for it, the sub is a single 3 ohm voice coil so I would need something that is either a mono block or can drive a bridged load at 3 ohms.

Suggestions?

I am not sure if this Berhringer amp would work? Big Daddy says the list price is $ 590 but he was saying if you look around you can find it for about 400?

Ideally I want to find a monoblock or something that can run a bridged 3ohm load as I only have run sub to power.

On a side note, that JL sub I was eyeing, well I made an offer on it as it didn't sell and they accepted it so I got a really good deal on it. I have a friend who is building me a box to match the look at the JL Home theater boxes so all I need is an amp

The Behringer amps look like they would fit the bill but I feel like im wasting money buying a 2 channel amp to only run 1 channel

How about the Behringer EPX2800


Looks like it would give me around 1000wrms with a 3ohm load and I could run one channel and just leave the other channel off leaving me room to add another sub down the road.
