Classic, French movies on blu-ray?

I'm getting some last minute gifts for my dad who's a big fan of old, French films and was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions for some blu-rays I can buy for him. I did search before making thread and didn't find anything relative to my topic, so I apologize if I might have missed any.

Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring a must also. There are so many to recommend.

Essential french films (on Blu):

Le Salaire de la Peur / The Wages of Fear
La Règle du Jeu / The Rules of the Game
La Belle et la Bete / Beauty and the Beast
Les Quatre Cents Coups / The 400 Blows
La Grande Illusion / Grand Illusion
Les Enfants Du Paradis / Children of Paradise

Can't go wrong with these. Definitive classics. I would also throw in La battaglia di Algeri / Battle of Algiers into the mix. It's an italian movie but with such a distinctive french theme.
