it's getting bigger and bigger every year about 300,000 attended last year

Interesting this year since Sony decided to skip Gamescom in favour of this show.

I guess they wanted to take the limelight for themselves. I wonder what it is they have planned.

I'm hearing people talk about what we might be seeing at the show.

Prediction: Uncharted 4 release/beta details, God of War 4, Quantic Dream's new game, and JRPG-megatons. Also hello Rime and WiLD.

Not only that, but being in October, it allows the devs to actually WORK during the summer, and produce something different to show.

I read that Sony was going to debut a trailer for one of their unannounced IPs. Some were saying it was going to show Ni no Kuni 2 but for whatever reason they changed their mind. This one has been on the cards for quite a while now so I wonder what the delay is?

Also, this show is on he list of events in the PS4 calander. It will be broadcast live on that app, you can set a reminder or set it to auto join when the event starts and it will turn on your PS4 and launch the app straight away as long as you are in rest mode.

I know it won't happen but a Gran Turismo 7 unveil would just about be enough for me! Come on Sony, make it so!

I could do with a new GT right about now. I miss that old grind of unlocking stuff. Project Cars and Driveclub were good in their own ways, but GT is still in a league of it's own when it comes to racing games on the PlayStation.

Yeah, I rather them announce the game when it's 6 months from going gold than announce it when it still needs at least 2 years of work until it's ready.

They could probably easily release a GT7 Prologue within a year. That would be more likely for an announcement

I still think the reason we haven't seen anything out of GT7 is because Polyphony is busy readying it for PlaystationVR. Sony knows in order make PSVR a success they are going to have to have some heavy hitters ready for it at launch. I believe when VR finally launches it's going to have both No Man's Sky and GT7 as launch titles, along with Eve: Valkyrie, Alien Isolation, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, etc.

You don't know that. Just because we haven't seen anything about it yet doesn't mean it won't be ready.

I do know that. Id put money on it. I am 99.99999999% positive that they arent going to announce GT7 for a spring 2016 release. I'll eat crow if Tuesday passes by and that happens

Would love to get more info on VR and some games for it. Though I suspect they will save that for the Dec event or a PS VR dedicated event.

And even if we don't hear anything about it by Tuesday, there's still the PS event in December and there will probably be a dedicated PSVR event in 2016 before launch. Plenty of time between now and then.

I will concede that you may be right about there being a Prologue first. I didn't think about that but even if that's true, I still say it will be ready and available for the VR launch

I guess with all the rumours of the PS4 having PS2 backwards compatibility down the line, do ya think Sony will pull off a "McMahon higher power" on us? Hook, line, and sinker?
