Question Godzilla movies in complete sets

Did not know where else to discuss this, hope this is the right thread!

Where's the best place to purchase all of the Godzilla movies, preferably in complete sets. Also where are the best prices, being that Black Friday & the Holidays are upon us!

Anyone's help is most appreciated!!!

I've found these from an overseas outlet, on there sales. Would this be a good start on a lot of Godzilla movies? Are you familiar with these sets?

Godzilla - Heisei Series Boxset 5 DVD $27.98
Godzilla - Millennium Series DVD $30.38
Godzilla - Showa Classics Vol 1 6 DVD $27.98
Godzilla - Showa Classics Vol 2 6 DVD $27.98

I'd love to get the complete run on Blu-ray. I've got the few US releases, all of which I'm very pleased with as far as quality goes. The Japanese discs are pricy and from what I hear not all that great.

I think it would be helpful to keep some sort of list in the first post as to what has been released on BD, what is rumored and all of that stuff.

Yes I did(a scary think did happen w/one of my discs as it was loose & not even in the right box set & was scratched. So I cleaned it off & thank goodness it did play ) & the PQ is good as I play them on my Blu-ray player so they are up-converted! This was a great decision for me & the sets look great!! If your a fan of Godzilla I would go for it. However my decision was made better b/c JB HIFI had them at a 20% discount!!!

I am overall very pleased w/the sets!

These US boxsets contain a bulk of the films. Although the 2nd boxset I posted is long out of print. So getting the Madman collection is probably the best idea.

I have all but the Millennium set, and there are still a few titles you'll be missing (and one that's a dub-only). There are also non-Godzilla movies that have characters from the Godzilla universe in them.

Check before buying...

Missing:
Godzilla Raids Agains (available from USA)
Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster (available from USA)
King Kong vs. Godzilla (available dubbed from USA)
The Return of Godzilla (available from HK)
Godzilla vs. Biollante (available on Blu-ray from USA)

Dub-only in that set:
Godzilla 2000 (available from HK)

Spin-off from Godzilla universe, but without Godzilla himself:
King Kong Escapes (sequel to King Kong vs. Godzilla, dub-only)
Mothra (available from USA in Icons of Sci-fi: Toho Collection)
Rebirth of Mothra trilogy
The Mysterians
Rodan (in set Rodan and the War of the Gargantuas)
Frankenstein Conquers the World (spin-off from War of the Gargantuas)

If you're interested in daikaiju stuff in general, all of the original Gamera series has been released on DVD, the Gamera trilogy and Gamera the Brave are available on Blu-ray, Daimajin trilogy on Blu-ray and there's a whole bunch more.

Personally, I recommend

If you don't already own the Criterion Godzilla, then I suggest you get it asap. It is the only way to see both the Japanese cut and The US cut fully restored in HD.

The 2009 classic media blu-ray was rubbish, and Toho's blu-ray is also rubbish.

Watching the scene where the "Prayer for Peace" song is sung on national TV actually made me tear up a bit. (In a manly way).

Knowing how this movie was so soon after we nuked Japan made it all the more poignant.
