Default Speaker Wire Question

This may come as a dumb question, but it is what it is.

I do not have the ability to run wiring into the walls where we are going to be moving, and I do not think that I can run them through the floors and under the basement...so I'll be running them along the floor molding and to their locations.

I was looking at the speaker cable (from Monoprice) that is for "in wall" installations, because it has a white PVC coating and seems like it will blend better with the white trim. And, because I expect I will be using wire staples to affix it to the wall to be kept straight and neat and the coating will give it better protection.

My question is, is there any disadvantage to using this type of cable outside of the wall? Other than it being more expensive, of course.

I can't fathom there would be, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Also, is there a disadvantage that I might not be considering? I would be using banana plugs into the speakers. The wire staples would also be of the insulated variety.
