Default $199 Blu ray Player for PC

I just saw this and wanted to pass it on:

I might have to pick one up for my new gaming PC!

Nah, if you are willing to invest into Blu, and you want to do it on a PC. Do yourself a favor and at least pick up a burner so that you can write onto Blu Disks.

Lots of people don't want to invest in a burner if they just want to play games and watch movies on computer. Many people will jump on this and it will be good for blu-ray.

I don't recall any Blu Games, did I miss something? I don't know if I agree with watching movies on your PC (desktop). I mean I have a blu ray player on my laptop because of the portability. But if I was at home I'm pretty sure i'd want either a PS3 or a stand alone blu ray player over a desktop. Most desktops have shotty sound because of the integrated sound onboard the motherboard. And if you had a real slamming desktop then I might agree with it, but then I'm pretty sure that if you had a high end DEsktop, you'd more then likely already have the burner anyways.

I would be open to it. I'd place it in a thin, sleek multimedia system built by me, which would do much more than a stand alone... except for maybe the PS3. Knowing me, the system I build would be no less than 1000.00. That equates to a PS3, then upgrade the hard drive and call it a day! But then as far as memory, hard drive capacity you could probably pull off 2+GB ram and a nice hard drive array, maybe a terabyte? I enjoy building systems and this would be something that I would be interested in taking on as a challenge to keep it around 1 thousand.
