Exclamation Lost Vegas and Cloudy(2) with a chance of Stupid (SONY redemption!!)

UV redemption for this film has been horrific!!!
inserts coming from Blu are either invalid or SD??
Anyone having issues with this movies?
currently there is 4 codes (that I know of)

CLOUDY 2
C3D = HDX (3D blu confirmed by nintrent)
C2W = HDX (came from my Walmart preorder)
C2D = SD and invalid (came from Blu)
CD2 = HDX (unknown)

and Last Vegas....

VEG = HDX and SD (DVD and Blu)
Yes thats right same 3 first digits but different redemptions!!

last week with Captain Phillips, same thing one code but an indication in the disclaimer told you if it was HDX or SD. (I dont have any codes to verify this, but members also had issues) https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=235788

So couple members that i have given two Vegas codes, were told to redeem the second one at Sony's site to be able to use their support ticket system vs useless vudu support. Will update with findings.

now to start on CLoudy 2 issues... I may just go to the Free code thread and forget about all this!!

I redeemed a C2D code through Sony's site and it redeemed in SD. I contacted them about the issue and within 24 hrs they updated my movie to HDX with not problems. Not sure why it happened but Sony was really good about fixing it.

Last few sony releases have had same prefix for both dvd and blu codes, so no way to tell up front by just looking at the code. Assuming Sony has some way to differentiate internally....

I just tried redeeming a Last Vegas Blu-ray code. At the Sony site it gives me an error message that says "We're sorry. This code is not valid in your country." Tried it at Vudu and get an Invalid Code error.

I sent a message to Sony CS. Hopefully they'll get it fixed.

I redeemed "Last Vegas" this morning at the Sony website and it was redeemed as SD, instead of HDX. I contacted their customer support so I hope they will fix the issue too.

I tried another Last Vegas code at Vudu and it gave me SD. Sent an email to Sony CS, hopefully they'll upgrade it to HDX.

I noticed something on the two slips. The first one (which was invalid) says Digital HD Ultraviolet. The second slip (which redeemed SD) only says Digital Ultraviolet. Both slips have a code that starts with ""VEG".

I just wanted to give an update on this.

I contacted Sony customer service through their website help section. They got back to me the next business day and added the movie to my Ultraviolet account (in HDX).

Great customer support from Sony. If you're having problems, contact them.
