The FCC will require low-power stations to cease analog broadcasting "within the near future".
All the full power TV stations in the United States have been converted to 100% digital ATSC but there is still a lot of low power TV stations that are broadcasting analog NTSC signals. The FCC in the near future plans on requiring low power broadcasters to switch to 100% digital ATSC.
