Looks like Little Golden Books art.

I already have two different sets of these SteelBooks, but these look good.

I like them. I just hope Toy Story 4 steelbook has a similar artwork that matches these three.

The answer is obvious, 8K Steelbooks with Toy Story 1-4 matching art... just before Toy Story 5 hits theatres.

What. The. Heck.

... again??

I just learned about these three a small while back... they're already sold out?? Good lord! I can never dream of grabbing these Best Buy exclusive steelbooks in Canada when they're actually first available since they're gone in the blink of an eye and Best Buy Canada refuses to get enough stock to meet demand. Meanwhile the USA store seems to always have more than enough. I get it that population is greater but that doesn't make it any less frustrating!

I follow the Blu-ray.com release calendar almost religiously and half the time when I first see them updated on there, there's an 100% chance the steelbooks have already went on sale and are long gone. How do people find out about these in enough time? It's not like I'm searching every title to every movie that potentially might come out every single day, hoping there'll be a magical steelbook release I can jump on in an instant. Maybe I am missing something here?? Lately I have been forced to hop onto eBay and pay a marked up price after the fact for them... and more often than not, they are copies that have been opened and have had the digital codes ravaged out of it (probably to sell separately or kept for the sellers themselves, who knows...) bleh!

Does anybody have any advice on how to keep up with these? I have no problem with making a snap purchase on something I want but I kind of need to know when something is going up for pre-orders so I can actually get my shoe in for it! Clearly checking the calendar on here isn't working out for me... and the actual physical stores around here have for the most part decided not to bring in ANY stock for their shelves to pick up or reserve in-store.

There has only been ONE instance where I have been able to get the 4K steelbook for Avengers Infinity War by ordering online and by coincidence I was able to get the Rogue One 3D combo steelbook in person back when that was released as they were getting in some copies and I inquired about it and somebody was holding like 2 or 3 copies and they never turned up for them so I was given one of them since I was placed on standby for them, just in case. For Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 4K/3D (the one perfect steelbook that had everything!) I had to go on the USA site after I found out... they had PLENTY of stock and the Canadian site had been super sold out. Luckily I have a friend in the USA that I had it shipped to and then shipped to me (as the US store doesn't ship to Canada). I just am beside myself with trying to keep up with how these things get released and it just feels sort of hopeless.

What on Earth can I do about it?? I would've liked to get these Toy Story 4K steelbooks... but I guess I'll have to hit up eBay for these three once again.

What do you mean? Orders open up then?? I thought the pre-orders have already came and went... the release day might be June 4th but if I cannot get a copy reserved for then I don't think that the release date isn't gonna help.

Considering these are at least a month (plus) away from being released, I would probably check back (B.B. site) closer to early May (in regards to availability).
It’s seems like it’s the same process here in the states, a release gets announced, put in place on their site, and immediately shows sold out (without actually being sold out- just a place holder). Hope this helps.

I know your pain, my local BB stopped stocking steelbooks almost all together so I have to rely on ordering online or a couple times a year I goto the States and hope they are in stock. When I know a movie should be coming up for pre-sale I search BB.ca at least 4-5 times a day with "4K steelbook". That helps when movies are in theaters and you know a release is imminent but when they re-release older movies new to 4K it's a crapshoot so I pretty much try to check every day regardless.

So you're saying there will be 8K upscans of 4K upscans of 2K content.

Damn, these actually look good. If 1 and 2 linger around and go on sale, might pick those up (or at least TS1, for sentimental value). No interest in TS3.

These look nice. I hopefully won't be spending $34.99 on each release just because I like the steel version better. I am thinking in terms of Iron Man 1-3, Thor (1 and 2), these... I want the 4k of course but I hope the options (standard slip, steel, digibook) are plentiful so I am not always only liking the steel versions. With that said, I did like the slips of Avengers more than I did the steels, so I guess there is hope!

If you click on the purchase links on the OP, you'll find that the links lead to a removed page... so... these haven't gone on pre-order yet? Did Best Buy just post these way too early and then just now yoinked 'em?? Or have these actually gone on for pre-sales yet?

Weren't we supposed to be waiting till sometime in May for the option to place an order to drop? Has anybody gotten an order in as of yet?? It seems that most people are in the dark on these...
