Arrow M. Night Shyamalan's 'Sundowning' - Back to basics Microfilm.

Quote:
At this point I'm not sure how many fans M. Night Shyamalan has left, at least how many of them are actually looking forward to whatever project he has coming up next rather than looking back fondly at filmssuch as The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, but he continues to work and his latest project is something he's referred to on Twitter as a "microfilm" titled Sundowning, and filming is underway in snowy Philadelphia.

Shyamalan hasn't revealed any of the cast, but throughout mid-February he was tweeting table read updates and now he's posted to WhoSay the above shot of a clapperboard from the film's production just yesterday anouncing "Day 5" of the movie is complete.

Slashfilm has done some sleuthing and found on M. Night Fans (hey, I guess there still are some dedicated fans) speculation the film could include Bruce Willis and Denzel Washington. I guess that might get the ears of detractors to perk up a little bit, but I think at this point we're all a little wary of what Shyamalan does next, though a small budget film sounds like the best thing for a writer/director that appeared to have lost his way.
Could this bring Shyamalan back to former, short lived glory? A smaller film with little studio interference could be the exact thing to put him back into place, or is this finally, the final nail in a long line of final nails that'll bury his career 6 foot under?
