Really looking forward to this. This will be the first feature film from Red Star. Red Star have been producing 3D and 4D animations mainly for theme parks and musuems until now.

I don't usually buy cartoons but the demo reels have an impressive amount of negative parallax. I'll take a chance that they will apply the same strengths to this.

I was searching pre-orders on Zavvi's site and came across this movie. I had never heard of it and I did a search and nothing came up here on this forum. Anyway I did place my order. If indeed this already has a thread I am sorry for posting it again.

Just noticed this title, phew good to know £21.99 wasn't the original price and that it will almost definitely drop back down before its release in March

I'm not so sure, HMV has it listed at 21.99 now as well.

Since I had inadvertently ordered this with Global Priority, it came over the weekend. (Still waiting on Frozen II to ship.)

The 3D is really good for the first half and more mediocre for the 2nd half. Not sure what's up with that. Mostly medium strong depth in the first half. Several in your face popouts. Occasionally things sit statically just outside of the screen.

The movie is kind of annoying and boring. Don't expect to be entertained much by the movie. I would still recommend it for the 3D since we get so few releases now.

Can confirm Region B locked.

I just got this today and now you remind me I have to set up my downstairs theater again for the region B.

I like it when things sit statically just outside of the screen, those are some of my favorite pop-outs! I'm not real keen on toons anymore, but I saw that it was cheap and thought, what the heck.

The 3D in the demo is in the stronger 3D range, very nice! Thanks.
But yeah, hopefully they take the same approach to the 3D strength in the feature film.
Region B though, that stinks. Plus all the delays with shipping at the moment. Didn't find any other distributors to release in other regions, so a multi region player would be necessary in the US.
