Canada The Official Home Theater Galleries 1st song of 2014!

I was reading the threads to realize many of us will probably get on here tonight as many seem to be staying at home. While we have all had our arguments pertaining to audio and there are many debates that will never end, we all share 1 commun thing at the very essence, MUSIC. We learn from others, we love to talk about what great new recording we have found, etc. and on this we never argue.

So I figured it might be nice to all listen to the same first song of 2014, create an exportable togetherness of sorts as we are but an extended family in many cases, as, if like me, you are the only in your family, friends and neighbors to be so passionate about Music and sound. Not many "get it". But WE do .

Most of us are at least partially old school, and with that in mind I propose the ultimate kickass party song

What says you?

Open to all suggestions by the way

Edit: There is only one rule I would like to apply, and is part of why I propose Rock&RollYou got to play it freakin loud, we gonna rock New Years, so what if the others don't get why it's so loud, it'll be our secret handshake hehe

Boy the phones back then. Surprising how really bad headphones didn't really exist back then. I was a Koss guy for most of my teens. Then I stopped using cans. Got my AKG K340 electrostats in 82-83 and still use them today I've not heard many sound as good when fed good power. I'm def a can man also

I really can not remember what brand they were but it was handed down to me by my father and he was really into the hobby back then. He even built his own Heathkit amp and receiver.

Edit: If I remember the receiver looked like this:

I've never personally known someone who built their kit, but have heard them and liked what I heard, but then everything in those days was good, I'm still using a little tube amp that came out of a circa 1950 console stereo, with the EV speakers, fine gear, just need to dedicate some time for a solid makeover and cabs for the speakers.

I can't think of anything "kickass" at the moment for posting. I'm sure I'll come up with something later though.

Emotionally, I want that lol.

Do Have A Question:

Is there a song that kind of already has a mutual agreement between the "locals"?
