hard to say.
but the German bds are locked so I would say most likely they will be.

Both are region locked. I just checked them in my own region A ps3.

WTF eh? Like are they trying to protect the staggered theatrical releases in other countries?...

The problem is that rights for these titles are held by different companies in other territories. The distributor can't pay for world wide rights and make them region free.

I watched TFOTRE the other day and the image quality is really terrible. I had to check that it was a BD and not a DVD in the player.

Does anyone know if a 70 mm print is out there somewhere and what the deal is?

The BFI has a 70mm print complete but it is now very pink, I saw it in the late
70s and it looked great then with full colour.
The 70mm prints were all 2.20.1 even though it was shot in Ultra Panavision.
