Can a digital copy be used on ios and android?

I have a digital copy (disc needed) for x men first class and im wondering if it can go on itunes and android or if it can only be used on one os.

Fox used to release android copies too. I never had an android so I can't be of much help. The Fox codes that are Itunes/UV allow redemption on both though.... I'd say pick your favorite format and then cross your fingers it works on both

You're right. I forgot Fox had an android app. I think you can only redeem one but I'm not completely sure about that.

If you have one of the five, six (?), I'm not sure how many Fox titles with an "Android" compatible digital copy, you can redeem both. I did it with Mirror Mirror.

With that said, it doesn't redeem a Google Play version like Disney's Android DCs. you have to download a seperate Fox Digital Copy app and the movie file to your Android device. This file has its own proprietary DRM just for the Fox DCs and you can only watch the movie through that app.

If you delete the movie, I kid you not here, you have to "redeem" it again to reload it on the Android device, The app does not keep a "download/purchased" list to make it easy to reload on an Android. Same thing if you have a new or replaced device.

After the hassle of this, removing Mirror Mirror once for space then realizing what I had to do... I didn't bother redeeming or even looking for the codes to my other Fox Android DCs.
